Sin Wong, M.D.
Dr. Wong attended medical school at New York Medical College. She
then completed her residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery
at The University of California, Irvine Medical Center and finalized
her surgical training by completing a fellowship in Pediatric Otolaryngology
at the Children’s Memorial Hospital-Northwestern University
in Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Wong is board certified in Otolaryngology-Head
and Neck Surgery and is an Assistant Professor of Otolaryngology
at the University of California, Irvine. She is trained and skilled
in treating all pediatric ear, nose and throat disorders, but has
particular interests in chronic ear diseases and obstructive sleep
apnea. Dr. Wong has been involved in research since her undergraduate
years, beginning at the Salk Institute in San Diego, and has continued
through her fellowship. Dr. Wong has co-authored several articles
in peer reviewed publications as well as been a contributor to an
academic textbook on the subject of pediatric otolaryngology. Dr.
Wong has been involved in clinical research promoting advances in
pediatric otolaryngology. She speaks medical Chinese and medical
Spanish. As a physician humanitarian, Dr. Wong and her husband are
dedicated Guide-Dog trainers for the Canine Companions for Independence
Foundations. When not practicing medicine, she enjoys hiking and
camping with her husband.
